We founded Freedom Family Church because we wanted a place where the Truth was preached, the Spirit could move, and lives were genuinely changed. After years of ministry and experiencing church in so many different ways, our pastor, decided it was time to launch a brand new church where people could Find Freedom, Join the Family and Be the Church. OUR MISSION
We want to take the people of Freedom Family Church on a journey to Find Freedom, Join the Family and Be the Church. We know that freedom is God's desire for every single one of His Children, yet few live it. We also know that God created us for community. That's why a family culture is so important to us, and youll find that at FFC through Small Groups and the Be Team. And, finally we want to see every single person living out their God-given calling. That's why we say we want people to "Be the Church". We even call our teams the "Be Team".
OUR VISION
We strive to be a church without walls. Jesus calls for us to go outside the walls to reach the lost and the broken. It is there that the lost will be found. Most churches find it is comfortable to stay within the walls, but we make it an effort to be like the church from the book of Acts, to see our city changed.
OUR VALUES
If the mission defines "what" we do, the values define "how" we do it. We believe every single thing we do should be done with Love above all. That's why we say Love FIRST. We also believe everything we do should be "done as unto the Lord", so we strive to Make it BETTER in every way. And finally we don't think church should be boring. When people who have experienced freedom gather with their family they should have fun!

SMALL BEGINNINGS
Founded in 2024 by Pastor Rick and wife Rachel Dykes, with a small group of family and friends
After 22 years in ministry Pastor Rick feels called to plant a church in the city that will see lives changed across our community.
Moved into new building and began holding services in February 2024.

Pastor Rick and his wife Rachel founded Freedom Family Church in February 2024. He has a true heart for the lost and spiritually isolated in the Chelsea area. He wants to see true change in this area and will not stop until that dream is fulfilled.
Darren Morton, leads our congregation worship every Sunday. His wife, Jill Morton, serves as our dedicated Dream Team leader, orchestrating a team of volunteers who work tirelessly to make our church community thrive.
Savannah is our Children's Ministry Director. Her heart for the kids of our church is truly astounding, and she has taken our children's ministry to all new heights.
